Pan dulce (lit. 'sweet bread'), known as a Mexican pastry, is a lightly sweetened yeast bread, baked in many varieties, of different sizes, colours, and flavours. 
They are topped with the traditional sugar crust pastry made from white flour, sugar and butter.
